Position: Personal Support Workers(PSW) / Nurses (RPN)

Peoples Care Pluse is currently seeking personal support workers (PSW) Developmental Support Workers (DSW) and nurses (RPN) to join its team in providing care for patients. Join a team of change and help make a difference in the lives of our seniors and their families.

Personal support workers, under the direction of the director of care, provide personal care services to the resident and assist residents to the activities of daily living as described in the care plan and in accordance with all required internal and external standards of practice.

Experience

–Recent experience working as a personal support worker in a home care, long term care, group home retirement home and the hospital setting

–Experience in geriatrics or gerontology is an asset.

–An understanding of the needs and issues of the older adults required.

–Must demonstrate good communication skills

–Completes resident records accurately to reflect the resident care provided complying with legislative and home requirements.

–Observes and reports resident health findings to the registered staff.

Qualifications

PSW certificate / RPN certificate

–Clear criminal record background check

–Up-to-date First /CPR qualifications

–Must be fully vaccinated

Shift Availability

–Day shift (preferred)

–Night shift(preferred)

–Overnight(preferred)

–12 hour shift

–10 hour shift

–8 hour shift. Full-time Part-time Permanent.
